This Blog is Preserved for Posterity

I just claimed this blog again today... I'm surprised it's still here. This was a blog I made years ago in college, and this is my first post in about 2.5 years. Probably most people won't understand it, since it is full of inside jokes, but most of my old college friends probably will. I started this blog mostly just because it was a computer trend, and I wanted to be involved in the rise and fall of any kind of new computer movement. I never really had any intention of updating it; it was mostly just to say I'd done it. So anyway, I did it, and I expect this will be the last post ever.

In case anyone is wondering... all the reference to Luke and pectorals refer to my college friend Luke, who at the time was absolutely obsessed with weightlifting, working out, and just generally try to get some chiseled chest muscles. He endured many hours of teasing from all of us about that, but he was a good sport :D.

Pectorals

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I was attacked by Luke's pectorals. Murphy was especially vicious, but I decked him. Luke was tired after that and wanted to go to sleep, but Murphy and Tom outvoted him and they went to the weight room. That is all.....

Look I updated again!!

Hey! Its another update! Just to let you all know, Luke and I had a Jam Session for Jen and Amanda a few nights ago before Cru. It was awesome, except for the part where we were each playing the same song and yet it didn't fit together. We need a metronome among other things. Nevertheless, I think our audience enjoyed it. I was laughing a lot anyway.

Hey LindsAy, if you read this you need to come over with the camera we used for the scavenger hunt and take a picture of me rocking out with the guitar to put on this blog. And on that note, we were the awesomest scavenger hunt team even if we didn't win :).

Side note: Luke, keep those pectorals to yourself!!! :)

Finally an update

That was harsh Amanda!! I plead computer homework as the reason I have not updated.

Since my last update, a few things have happened. I have become better at the electric guitar (I still need to get a rockstar picture up there). I have started classes, and I have resumed my role as house president, and led a crusade to impeach the treasurer (which was accomplished unanimously, mostly because he took the TV from the den to his room and barricaded himself in there, which annoyed most of the residents). Finally, I took a trip to Washington D.C. last week for a job interview with the government. It was not what I expected, and it remains to be seen whether I did a good job at that interview or not.

I got an electric guitar

First off, thanks to Amanda for that wonderful compliment in her previous comment. ("you are now an official computer geek of the highest order." -Amanda).

Now that my worries about my status as a computer geek have been addressed, it is now time to make some sort of point with this post, and that is this: I got an electric guitar! The next question that will be asked is can I play anything. Yes, I certainly can. I can play the G and E cords. Hopefully at some time in the not too distant future I will move up to the point where I can actually play a song, but to do that I need to quit blogging and go practice. Pictures of me as a rock god will be posted later.

Internet Fad Time

Ok, ok, I give up. I tried to avoid ever making a blog. But my honor as a computer geek has been questioned, and the only way to restore it is to prove that I can follow and participate in Internet fads such as blogging. So I shall set up my binary hideout, where I can post random stuff secretly in the anonymity of cyberspace (kind of makes me wish I actually had something worthwhile to post). Anyways, this is the first message, more updates later.
